MIND MAPPING It is so easy done on paper, but then trying to do it on the computer a whole other story! Very interesting, but a useful tool! I decided to use the tool, Popplet . Where it had basic examples shown to you as you went through the learning process, which were very helpful. Basically self explanatory. This tool helps you map out a basic idea, and then further explain it with more bubbles of thoughts, with pictures, and short definitions. So you aren't overloaded with words! It lays it on the paper as you want in the order you want as well. The things I liked about the tool: 1. You can change the color of the boxes. - I put my definition words in the red boxes, so that would let the student be more aware of what they need to remember. -I also had the same color for the same subjects. 2. Stressed Out!Thinglink

THINGLINK Trying to figure out a new technological item is many things.. 1. Its hard 2. Its new 3. You have no idea what you're doing 4. And do I really have the patience to watch the whole tutorial video on how to do it?! 5. Aren't books enough?! My experience with ThingLink was a few of the points above, but overall it seemed to be easy! I enjoyed learning how to work ThinkLink. And this is a tool I would definitely use within the classroom. For reasons such as:  Kids right now do everything online They are always using a tablet, some form of technology It is easy and understandable. IT IS SOOOO INTERACTIVE!!  The best thing I noticed about ThingLink, is that it is so engaging. You have a still image in front of you, but then as you move your mouse around, you are taken to different websites, videos, pictures. Those points pose questions as well. So your mind is working as you are involved in engaged learning. It is a tool to use with all ages of chil
